Self Portrait in the Style of….
with David L. Bradley

In this expressive and imaginative workshop, participants will create a self-portrait inspired by the bold, emotional language of artists like Picasso. Rather than focusing on physical likeness, this process invites each person to reflect on how they feel and how they experience themselves in the present moment. Using color, shape, and abstract forms, participants can create a visual interpretation that feels honest and uniquely their own.

Through guided prompts and gentle instruction, participants will experiment with abstraction, distortion, and expressive mark-making—discovering new ways to visually communicate their internal landscape. The result is a deeply personal portrait that reflects emotion, perspective, and self-understanding.

This class encourages play, curiosity, and authenticity, making it accessible for all skill levels.

This session is suitable for all skill levels; no prior art experience is needed.

All materials are provided, however there is a $5.00 materials fee payable to the instructor on the day of the workshop.
