This fundraiser for Arizona Art Alliance is open to all members of the Arizona Art Alliance Member Arts Organizations.

If you are new to social media or just want to learn more about how to leverage your message on social media, this series is not to be missed. Space is limited as this is a hands-on program. Topics covered: posting, creating events, sharing, boosting and other aspects of Instagram and Facebook, along with business tips and marketing strategies. Photo editing, management and other aspects of social media and marketing will be covered. Each session is driven by the needs of the attendees. Participants are invited to bring their laptop, tablet, or smart-phone. Bring digital images and information to post on social media. Define your goal or purpose for using social media helps you plan what you are posting and build a strategy for success.

The twice monthly labs are held at Arizona Art Alliance headquarters:

About the facilitator:
Tess Mosko Scherer, Executive Director of the Arizona Art Alliance has a diverse career in the arts spanning more than 30 years. She was owner and director of Scherer Gallery from 1983 to 2006 representing international contemporary artists and specializing in glass art. She was the Artistic Director of Shemer Art Center and Museum, and Director of Facilitation and Curriculum for the World Academy for the Future of Women.

In addition to her studio practice, Tess has a private practice coaching and mentoring artists. She developed workshops to help artists overcome their fear of the business of art. She has been an active member of several art organizations including Arizona Artists Guild (Past President) the Sonoran Arts League (DFL curator), Art Link, Art Intersection and a previous member of the Eye Lounge Collective Gallery (past president) in Phoenix. Her work is exhibited nationally, is represented by Van Gogh’s Ear Gallery, Prescott, and has won several awards in juried shows in Arizona. Mosko Scherer was named one of the ‘100 Creatives You Need to Know’ by the Phoenix New Times in 2016. For her Outreach work, she is the recipient of numerous grants including the City of Phoenix, Arizona Commission on the Arts, VetsArt.org and the National Endowment of the Arts.
